membership

Our members include families and individuals from the entire San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys—Pasadena to Ontario, north and south. We range in age from teenagers to octogenarians. We welcome anyone who is interested in recreational, non-racing bicycling. Our weekly rides are flexible in length, starting places and starting times. We want to ride our bikes in a safe manner for fun, exercise, camaraderie and adventure. The Covina Cycle Club invites guests and prospective members to join our rides.

Non-members are welcome on all club rides except those designated as "Members Only". Club policy requires that all ride participants wear an ANSI approved helmet. Riders on regular rides should be able to ride 20 miles at 15-16 mph pace on level ground and negotiate moderate hills. Beginners should be able to ride 5-15 miles at 10-12 mph. All rides leave from Covina Park located on 4th Avenue between Badillo and San Bernardino Road except drive 'n rides. In bad weather call Carlos at 909-394-9670 to verify. Late comers look for route slips on the windshield of a member's car at the starting point.
